Our Mission is to provide a safe, nurturing, home for women who are motivated to escape homelessness. Whether re-entering society from incarceration, rehab, or homeless due to economic disaster, the women of our program are empowered to regain control of their circumstances through a systematic, challenging series of goal setting and growth exercises.
In addition to meeting our resident’s physical needs, we also supply job training, life-skills training, counseling, and mentoring. The Home is transitional group housing. Each resident receives her own bed and personal space as well as access to a kitchen, laundry facility and recreational living space. Due to the sensitive nature of our ministry and the clients we serve, the physical location of the home is kept secure.
Mt. Moriah Charters of Florida, INC. is a non-profit that works with the homeless in the Big Bend Area. In 2009 alone, Mt Moriah has clothed over 500 people in need through our voucher program at Mt.
